You can set up the Location property in the Vehicle Info settings of work order types in the Back Office application...

...so if the Location property is set as visible, the Location field is shown on the Vehicle screen (note that the Location field in monitored work orders is always visible), while if the Location property is set as not visible, the Location field is not shown on the Vehicle screen...

...and if the Location property is set as required, you cannot save work orders if the Location field on the Vehicle screen is empty. 

Note The list of available locations is based on the following conditions:

1. If location is required and a work order client is assigned to a location, the list of available locations includes assigned location, as well as locations that are not assigned to any client.

2. If the first condition doesn’t work and a default repair location is defined for a work order type, this location is set by default and cannot be changed.

3. If the first and the second conditions don’t work and location is required, the list of available locations includes locations...

...assigned to device team.
