You can save inspections either as draft or final in mobile app if the Draft Mode check box is selected for their type in Back Office.

Note If the Draft Mode check box is not selected for an inspection type, inspections of this type will be automatically saved as final.

To save an inspection as draft

  • On the final wizard step, tap Save, and then tap Draft in the Save As message.

When you save an inspection as draft, required fields on the Vehicle Info screen, the Claim screen, and the Questions screen can be left empty.

To save an inspection as final

  • On the final wizard step, tap Save, and then tap Final in the Save As message.

Note If approval is required, final inspection is saved with the New status, if approval is not required, final inspection is saved with the Approved status.

When you save an inspection as final, required fields on the Vehicle Info screen, the Claim screen, and the Questions screen cannot be left empty. The appropriate message will appear on the screen with the first required field which is left empty.

Important! If the Draft Mode check box is selected for an inspection type, you can edit inspections of this type only until they remain in the Draft status...

...once such inspections are saved as final, the Edit action becomes not available.
