Sometimes vehicles can be held down for a non-scheduled repair during which technicians can perform maintenance services if their minimum miles or months are reached. You need to enable the appropriate setting so that the system will automatically add maintenance services to non-scheduled repairs.
On the Company tab, click ‘Work Order Types, and then click ‘Edit’ next to the appropriate type.
In the ‘Work Order Type’ dialog box, select the ‘Auto add scheduled services’ checkbox, and then click ‘OK’.
