When you take pictures, you can use pinch-in and pinch-out zoom gestures, which are standard gestures that iOS application users expect to use when zooming in and out. 

Tip You can also use the zoom slider on the left. 

The same way you can use pinch gesture or slider to zoom in and out while recording video notes for inspections.
