You can save work orders either as draft or final in mobile app if the Draft Mode check box is selected for their type in Back Office.

Note If the Draft Mode check box is not selected for a work order type, work orders of this type will be automatically saved as final.

To save a work order as draft

  • On the final wizard step, tap Save, and then tap Draft in the Save As message.

When you save a work order as draft, required fields on the Vehicle Info screen and the Claim screen can be left empty.

To save a work order as final

  • On the final wizard step, tap Save, and then tap Final in the Save As message.

Note Final work orders are saved with the Approved status.

When you save a work order as final, required fields on the Vehicle Info screen and the Claim screen cannot be left empty. The appropriate message will appear on the screen with the first required field which is left empty.

Important! If the Draft Mode check box is selected for a work order type, you can edit work orders of this type only until they remain in the Draft status...

...once such work orders are saved as final, the Edit action becomes not available.
