There may be two issues related to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):

  • Wrong VIN after scanning

If the VIN was scanned, and the incorrect characters are populated, there can be a number of reasons for this: poor lighting, curved surfaces, dirt, etc., so please make sure that conditions are good for scanning.

  • Wrong year, make, and model after VIN decoding

If the vehicle year, make, and model are decoded incorrectly, please let us know the following:

1. What the input method was (was the VIN scanned or the VIN entered manually?).

2. What the proper VIN is.

3. What the proper year, make, and model is.

After that we will make changes in our VIN database so that you can update the VIN database on your mobile devices.
