You can specify which owner’s fields must not be empty when you select a retail owner on the Vehicle screen.

  • On the Company tab, click Service Request Types, Inspection Types, or Work Order Types depending on which settings you want to edit. 
  • Click the Settings link in the Vehicle Info column next to the appropriate service request type, inspection type, or work order type. 
  • On the Vehicle Info Settings page, in the Visible column, select the check box next to the Owner field, select the check box next to the appropriate owner’s property, and then click Update.

For example, if you mark the Email property as required, the appropriate message will appear when you select a retail owner without email address.
