You can set up automatic closing of service requests if no work order has been created from them within a particular period.

Required Subscriptions:

  • Features: ServiceRequestsAutoClosing

To set up service requests auto-closing

  • On the Company tab, click Company Info, and then on the Integration Settings tab, click the Configure link in the Service Requests Auto Closing Settings section.

  • On the Service Requests Auto Closing Settings page, enter the appropriate settings, click Save, and then on the Integration Settings tab, click Save Settings.

On the ‘Service Requests Auto Closing Settings’ page, you can enter the following settings:

  • Active enables settings for automatic closing of service requests.

  • Expiry Period in Days defines the period after which service requests will be automatically closed.

  • All Clients Including Retails defines whether service requests will be automatically closed for ALL clients. If the All Clients Including Retails check box is not selected, you can move wholesale clients from the Available box to the Assigned box to specify clients for which service requests will be automatically closed.

  • All Service Request Types defines whether service requests of ALL types will be automatically closed. If the All Service Request Types check box is not selected, you can move service request types from the Available box to the Assigned box to specify types for which service requests will be automatically closed.
