Create invoices from repair orders

You can now create an invoice from a repair order by tapping the ‘Create Invoice’ action…

…or you can create a single or separate invoices from multiple selected repair orders.

Important! You can create invoices from repair orders if the 'Invoice From Device' setting is turned on for the appropriate work order types and the work orders are in the ‘Approved’ status.

Duplicate checking for service requests

If the duplicate checking is turned on for service request types in the Back Office application…

…when you create more than one service request with the same VIN, Stock#, or RO#, you will either get a warning message about the duplicate, or you will have to approve or correct the duplicate entry before saving.

Price access for repair orders

The ‘Price Access’ setting of work order types now works also for repair orders in Monitor:

  • If ‘Price Access’ is ‘Read Only’ then you will see the repair order amount and service price, but you will not be able to edit the service price.

  • If ‘Price Access’ is ‘Hidden’ then you will not see the repair order amount and service price.

Set the repair order flag on a separate screen

We have optimized the ‘Repair Orders’ screen layout so now you can change the repair order flag by tapping the appropriate action and selecting another flag on the ‘Select Flag’ screen.
