Checking inspection VIN history and duplicates
If the inspection type settings ‘Vehicle History Enforced’ and ‘Block Identical VIN’ are turned on…
…when you enter a VIN on the inspection ‘Vehicle Info’ screen and there are existing inspections of the same type with the same VIN, you will see the following screens:
Vehicle VIN History (you can see all inspections of the same type with the same VIN created within a specific period of time defined on the ‘Company Info’ settings)
Duplicates (you can search for inspection duplicates if the list is long, go back to correct the VIN, or approve creating the inspection with the duplicate VIN)
