You can define whether technicians can create and edit service requests in the mobile app.
To allow creating and editing service requests
In the Service Request Type dialog box, click the Mobile Settings tab, click Yes next to the Allow to create/modify service request option, and then click OK.
Now, when you create a service request you can select this type on the 'SR Types' screen.
Also, when you tap a service request of this type on the 'Service Requests' page, you will see the 'Edit' option.
To prevent creating and editing service requests
In the Service Request Type dialog box, click the Mobile Settings tab, click No next to the Allow to create/modify service request option, and then click OK.
Now, when you create a service request you cannot select this type on the 'SR Types' screen.
Also, when you tap a service request of this type on the 'Service Requests' page, you will not see the 'Edit' option.
