You can assign a service to a default technician so that when you add this service to inspections or work orders in the mobile app, this service will be automatically assigned to this technician.

  • On the Company tab, click Services, and then click Edit next to the appropriate service.
  • In the Service dialog box, in the Default Technician section, click Custom Technician in the Assigned To box, click the appropriate technician in the Technician box, and then click OK.

Default technician will be automatically preselected in the mobile app when this service is added to work orders even if the device is registered for a team to which the default technician does not belong.
