Vehicle Geolocation
When a vehicle that you need to inspect or repair is parked somewhere within a huge area, it’s difficult to locate it among hundreds of other cars. Now you can quickly find the vehicle by showing its location on map directly from your inspection, work order, or repair order. Also, if you stand near the vehicle you can save your current geolocation so you or other technicians can easily find it later.
To see the location of the vehicle on map
Tap an inspection, work order, or repair order, and then tap the ‘Show Location’ action.
To save the location of the vihicle
Tap an inspection, work order, or repair order, and then tap the ‘Save My Location’ action.
Note If the vehicle location already exists, you can override it.
Important! Make sure that users are assigned to the role with the appropriate Vehicle Location permissions for Back Office and Mobile App.
Also, please make sure that the 'Vehicle Location' feature is enabled.
