You can define whether technicians can create and edit service request appointments in the mobile app.
To allow creating and editing service request appointments
In the Service Request Type dialog box, click the Mobile Settings tab, click Yes next to the Allow to create/modify appointments option, and then click OK.
Now, when you tap the ‘Appointments’ action you can see the ‘Add’ button on the ‘Appointments’ screen.
Also, when you tap an appointment, you can edit its details.
To allow editing only the time of service request appointments
In the Service Request Type dialog box, click the Mobile Settings tab, click Time Only next to the Allow to create/modify appointments option, and then click OK.
Now, you can change only the time of the service request appointment, i.e. when you try to select a different date, it automatically returns to the midnight of the appointment date.
To prevent creating and editing service request appointments
In the Service Request Type dialog box, click the Mobile Settings tab, click No next to the Allow to create/modify appointments option, and then click OK.
Now, when you tap the ‘Appointments’ action you can not see the ‘Add’ button on the ‘Appointments’ screen.
Also, when you tap an appointment, you cannot edit its details.
