You can make a list of departments and assign them to phases so that when a repair order moves from one phase to another, it also automatically moves from one department to another.
On the Monitor tab, click Repair Locations, and then on the Repair Locations page, click the Departments link in the Departments column next to the appropriate repair location.
On the Departments page, click Add on the toolbar.
In the Department dialog box, enter the appropriate settings, and then click OK.
