Chat
With this new feature, users can communicate with each other directly within their applications to discuss and solve repair order related questions and problems.
On the ‘Addons’ page
Turn on the ‘Chat’ feature
In the global header
See the ‘Chat’ button (red counter shows if there are any unread messages and how many)
Click the ‘Chat’ button to open the ‘Channels’ panel
In the ‘Channels’ panel
See channels with new chat messages (red counter shows if there are any unread messages and how many)
Click a channel to open the ‘Chat’ view
Switch between ‘My channels’ and ‘All channels’ mode (for specific roles only)
On the ‘Repair Orders’ page
See the ‘Chat’ button (grey icon means that no chat exists yet, red counter shows if there are any unread messages and how many)
Click the ‘Chat’ button to open the ‘RO# Channels’ panel
On the ‘Repair Order’ page

Type a message and/or upload a file and send it into the chat
Mention members in the text message
Edit and delete their own messages
React to messages, copy messages, and reply to messages of other members
Click the ‘Info (i)’ button to open the ‘Channel Info’ panel

Leave the channel
Click the ‘Edit’ button to open the ‘Edit Channel’ modal
