Tires

The new feature will make it easier for dealership repair shops to order tires of the correct type and size from parts providers by specifying tire location, condition, and tread depth in question forms that trigger automatic creation of services with specific tire parameters.

  • The ‘Tires’ addon enables the feature

  • A new question type called ‘Measurements’ enables the following settings:

  • ‘Sub Type’ allows selecting a type of measurement (only ‘Tires’ sub type is available now)

  • ‘Location’ allows selecting a position of the tire

  • ‘Tread Depth’ allows selecting a measurement system that defines the exact list of tread depth parameters (if needed, this field can be set as required)

  • ‘Tire/Sidewall Condition’ enables a field that lets users select a tire condition (if needed, this field can be set as required)

  • Support for questions of the ‘Measurements’ type in the ‘Question Forms’ view of repair order details.

  • Support for questions of the ‘Measurements’ type on printouts

Select the new operations ‘Replace (Tire)’ and ‘Repair (Tire)’ when setting up a service of the ‘Repair Bundle’ price type

  • Select the new operations ‘Replace (Tire)’ and ‘Repair (Tire)’ when adding a service of the ‘Repair Bundle’ price type to repair orders

  • See the new fields ‘Tire Width’, ‘Aspect Ratio’, and ‘Wheel Diameter’ when ‘Replace (Tire)’ or ‘Repair (Tire)’ operation is selected

  • Select or enter a value for the ‘Tire Width’, ‘Aspect Ratio’, and ‘Wheel Diameter’ fields

  • See the selected values in the name of the labor and part services in the Repair Order Details view and Part Details view

  • See the selected values in the name of service on print preview

  • Select the operations ‘Replace (Tire)’ and ‘Repair (Tire)’ when adding a service of the ‘Repair Bundle’ price type to service requests and then select or enter a value for the ‘Tire Width’, ‘Aspect Ratio’, and ‘Wheel Diameter’ fields which are used to populate the service name shown on service request details and print preview

  • See tire parameters in the name of inspection services on the Services tab of inspection details and print preview
