Turn on quick actions

On the ‘Applications’ tab of the ‘Quick Actions’ page, users with the ‘SuperUser’ or ‘SetupEngineer’ role can select an application, see all quick actions available for the selected application, enable or disable quick actions, and change the title of quick actions.

Auto-copying documents to related entities

When you add a document to a service request from which a repair order was created, this document is automatically attached to the repair order documents, and vice versa, when you add a document to a repair order created from a service request, this document is automatically added to service request documents.

Note If you delete such document from a service request or repair order, it will automatically be deleted from the related repair order or service request. If you edit the name/description of such document in the service request, the notes of the repair order document will be updated accordingly.

Auto-copying configuration when creating new back offices

The following improvements let our support team automate the Back Office setup and data transfer to streamline the onboarding process for new customers.

Auto-enabling default addons

The most popular addons are now enabled by default to save time on enabling them manually after creating new back offices.

  • On the ‘Addons’ page of a newly created back office, users with the ‘SuperUser’ or ‘SetupEngineer’ role can see the following addons enabled by default:

  • Vehicle Inventory

  • MOTOR Car-Specific Catalogs

  • Markups

  • Parts Inventory

  • Paint Codes

  • Service Contracts

  • Labor Skills

  • Basic Service Request

  • R&I Labor Times

  • Basic Parts

  • Labor Services and R&I Times

Auto-enabling MOTOR alert

MOTOR-related alert is enabled automatically when the MOTOR addon is turned on to save time on manual setup of the alert that triggers MOTOR service to download vehicle info through the API.

  • On the ‘Events’ page of a Classic BO with enabled ‘MOTOR Car-Specific Catalogs’ feature, users can see the 'MOTOR Catalog Load’ alert

Copying services assigned to question sections

Services assigned to question sections are now copied to new Back Offices created from template Back Offices.

  • On the ‘Assigned Services’ view of question section answers in the new Back Office, users can see the same services as in the appropriate question section answer of the template Back Office.

Copying work order type default repair location

Default repair location of work order types are now copied automatically when creating new Back Offices from template Back Offices.

  • On the Monitor tab in the Work Order Type dialog box of the new BO, users can see the same default repair location as in the appropriate work order type of the template Back Office

Send multiple versions of invoice as separate files

You can choose multiple print templates to email different versions of an invoice automatically or manually.

  • On the ‘Email Options’ tab of the ‘Client’ view, click the appropriate print templates to select them for auto emailing.

  • In the ‘Custom Email’ mode of the ‘Send invoice’ view, select the ‘Include Invoice (PDF) checkbox, and then select several templates that will be used for generating PDF files attached to the email.

Change repair order department

You can now change the department of repair orders on the redesigned ‘Repair Orders’ page.

  • Click the department name in the ‘Current State’ column and select the appropriate department.
