Track active and idle times

We added the ‘Active’, ‘Idle’, and ‘Total’ counters to the repair order list and detail views so now you can see if repair order phases are idle or active and for how long in order to track time more accurately and identify areas for work optimization:

  • Idle time starts ticking when a phase can be started but for some reason it is not

  • Active time starts ticking when a phase gets started either manually or automatically

Note The counters are paused when the phase gets blocked by the ‘On Hold’ status of the repair order or ‘Check Out’ of another phase, but they automatically resume after unblocking.

Add specific phase to track estimation process

We added the ‘Estimate’ type to the list of phase types, so now you can create a phase of this type and track how much time you spend on the work estimation process.

When you close the ‘estimate’ phase, the order amount is automatically populated into the ‘Repair Cost Estimate’ field, and if you later add and remove services or update their price, you can compare the current order total with your initial estimation. When you have estimated all services and saved the changes, you are prompted to complete the estimation phase.
